Who we are

DREVARI.SK, s.r.o. is a Slovak company that develops a mobile app for log scaling and timber records and runs the timber portals DREVARI.SK, DŘEVAŘI.CZ and TIMBERPOLIS. The app is published under a brand that follows the language – DREVARI.SK in Slovakia, DŘEVAŘI.CZ in Czechia and TIMBERPOLIS worldwide.

Why we build it

Timber was long measured on paper and in spreadsheets – slowly and with copying errors. We wanted a tool that works in the forest with gloves on, in bright sun and with no signal, and that calculates exactly by the rules people in each country actually use. That is why the app knows 22 log scaling methods and speaks 29 languages.

Portals and community

Besides the app we run timber portals with classifieds, calculators and company profiles, with more than 9 198 registered users. The app and the portals share one account – what you record in the forest you see on the web in the office.

Accuracy and sources

Log scaling formulas and tables follow the official standards and rules – the USDA Forest Service rules for Doyle, Scribner and International ¼″, and other national standards. Map data in the Forest Atlas come from public sources of state institutions.
