Timber delivery transfer by QR code

The buyer no longer retypes the delivery note. They scan the QR code and the delivery is recorded in their own books as a purchase – exactly as the seller measured it.

Steps

How it works

A few taps on each side. The code can be scanned from a screen or from the printed delivery note.

Seller

  1. Creates the delivery's QR code in the sale detail.
  2. Shows the code on screen or prints it on the delivery note – with a short code and a link.
  3. After the transfer, sees at the sale which company received the delivery.

Buyer

  1. Scans the QR code with the phone camera or enters the short code from the document.
  2. Logs in and reviews the delivery items before accepting.
  3. Taps “Accept delivery” – a purchase is created and shows up on their phone by itself.
What is transferred

The measurement yes, your business data no

The buyer gets a copy of the measurement. Each company has its own record that it edits and archives itself – nothing is shared between companies.

Transferred

  • pieces and their dimensions
  • volume
  • species – in the buyer's language
  • log numbers and tags, matching the printed document
  • EUDR reference numbers that belong to the delivery

Not transferred

  • prices
  • the seller's quality grades and assortments
  • the seller's suppliers
  • notes and photos
Benefits

Why transfer by QR

No retyping

No copying diameters and lengths from paper – and none of the mistakes that come with it.

Everyone keeps their own record

The seller keeps the sale, the buyer gets the purchase. Each edits and archives their own.

Receiving is free

Only the seller needs a subscription. The buyer accepts the delivery with a free account and it does not count towards their record limit.

Secure

Visitors who are not logged in see neither items nor prices. A delivery can be accepted only once and the code is stored securely.

Backup short code

If the QR code cannot be scanned, the buyer enters the short code from the document. A check character catches typos.

Timber origin travels with it

EUDR reference numbers pass to the buyer together with the measurement, so the link to the timber's origin is not lost.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does the buyer need a subscription?

No. Only the seller who creates the QR code needs a subscription. The buyer accepts the delivery with a free account and it does not count towards their record limit.

What if the buyer has no account yet?

After scanning the code they register, and the accepted delivery becomes their first record.

Will the buyer see my prices?

No. Only measurement data is transferred – pieces, dimensions, volume, species, log numbers and EUDR reference numbers. Prices, quality, your suppliers, notes and photos stay with you.

Can one delivery be accepted twice?

No. Each delivery can be accepted only once. Another attempt shows that it has already been accepted.

What if the QR code on the document cannot be scanned?

Below the QR code there is a short code and a link. Enter the short code by hand – upper or lower case, dashes and mixing up O and 0 do not matter, and a check character catches typos.
